1. I feel the biggest advantage of using presentation software in k-12 is that the materials would be presented in a more organized and easier to follow way. Also, I'm sure the students would be able to access the notes from home. But k-12 is a huge gap and I don't think it would be much more beneficial than standard teaching in the lower grade levels. I do not see any disadvantages that would come from using presentation software for k-12.
2. Powerpoint would be a good tool to use for math lessons. Powerpoint has good tools to use for different dimensions like that. You would be able to make different objects move and or take them away and have the students solve the problem. You could also maybe make it interesting for a history lesson as well or maybe even science. The only think that I do not think would be good to use it for is English.
3. One major issue about educational technology is that critics think using computers take away from traditional learning styles. Critics are worried that students will not benefit as much from a strictly computer/ and presentation software curriculum. They also fear that the teachers will be more wrapped up in making their presentations and finding the information rather than focusing on the students and the problems they might have with certain information

I agree, Power Points would be greatly used for math explainations.
